Why We Built Bridge Town Notes
Notes is our public operating log for product decisions, release context, and AI-native FP&A strategy.
Bridge Town Notes exists to answer one question clearly: what are we building, and why now?
The /docs section stays focused on implementation detail, references, and how-to guides. /notes is intentionally different. It captures the narrative layer around product direction, release intent, tradeoffs, and field signals from finance teams running real planning cycles.
We publish notes as plain markdown in-repo so every change is reviewable, versioned, and attributable. That lets humans and local agents collaborate on the same editorial workflow without introducing a separate CMS or hidden state.
This format also supports discoverability. Each note ships with structured metadata, canonical links, and RSS coverage so subscribers and search engines can track Bridge Town progress in near real time.
If you want the day-to-day mechanics, read the docs. If you want the context that explains those mechanics, read Notes.
