Operating Guidelines for Bridge Town Notes Authors

The minimum bar for publishing notes that are clear, useful, and production-safe.

The minimum bar for publishing notes that are clear, useful, and production-safe.

Bridge Town Notes is a product surface, not an internal scratchpad.

Before publishing, every note should pass this checklist:

  1. The title communicates a specific outcome.
  2. The excerpt can stand alone in RSS and card views.
  3. The body names decisions, tradeoffs, and intended audience impact.
  4. Metadata is complete and canonical URL is correct.

Avoid filler language, vague claims, or private context that cannot be verified by readers.

When in doubt, optimize for operational clarity. A short, precise note is better than a long, ambiguous one.
